Curriculum
The core J SAHAB AYUSH MEDICAL COMMUNITY COLLEGE will provide students with the opportunity to begin acquiring an understanding of the unique role of the Naturopathy & Yoga practitioner, and the basic knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to care for the patients from all walks of life. Students will gain these abilities by engaging in structured and integrated learning activities -- both outpatient and inpatient. These will represent a core of behaviors encompassed by the Naturopathy & Yoga Practitioner, which prepare him/her for a unique role in optimum patient care, problem-solving, counseling, and coordination of health care for the individual and for the family. Learning from highly qualified and experienced faculties who specialize in medical student education and students will study in new facilities equipped with the latest educational technologies. Students will learn the art and practice of medicine in one of the country’s Naturopathy & Yoga College with state-of-the art facilities where medical teamwork is preferred, practiced and perfected.
The academic program is spread over a period of 4 ½ years, plus 1 year of Compulsory Residential Rotatory Internship [CRRI] in the 100 bedded teaching hospital. The 4 ½ years curriculum includes four parts - I BNYS of 18 months duration and II, III, & IV BNYS of 12 months duration each. The course comprises of the following curriculum:

The Course is a judicious mix of lectures, practical sessions, clinical demonstrations, seminars and workshops. Degree will be awarded only after the successful completion of the internship. By the end of the course, the student becomes a Government Registered Doctor in Naturopathy & Yogic Sciences.
